Ingredients

  • 1 recipe of the vanilla ice cream

  • Strawberry jam

Directions

  • Make the vanilla ice cream recipe found on this blog.
  • During the last couple minutes of churning, drop scant teaspoons of jam into the ice cream and let it blend enough to break up the jam.
  • Transfer to plastic container and freeze for 6 hours.

Notes

  • Since I eyeballed the jam amount when making this, I did not measure the amount of jam used. I plan to try it with peach jam, so will come back and add in the amount of jam used. Give your ice cream a taste as you add the jam and add more based on your taste preference!
