minutesLooking for a tasty, fluffy pancake recipe and a great way to use some of your sourdough discard? This is the recipe for you! Add a big hunk of soft butter, sifted powder sugar and maple syrup and you are all set!
Ingredients
1 cup sourdough discard
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg, room temperature
2 Tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Directions
- Combine sourdough discard, buttermilk, beaten egg, melted butter and vanilla.
- Mix together with a whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt.
- Add flour mixture to wet mixture and combine, but do not overmix.
- You pancake mix is ready to cook in a hot skillet!
